Every BL654 Series module is designed to simplify OEMs enablement of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) v5.0 and Thread (802.15.4) to small, portable, power-conscious devices. The BL654 provides engineers with considerable design flexibility in both hardware and software programming capabilities. Based on the world-leading Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 chipset, the BL654 modules provide ultra-low power consumption with outstanding wireless range via +8 dBm of transmit power and the Long Range (CODED PHY) Bluetooth 5 feature. The BL654 is programmable via Laird's smartBASIC language or Nordic's software development kit (SDK).
